The Serpentine Story
Deep in the Amazon, breu resin has been burned for centuries to cleanse, protect, and clear the way. We wild-harvest it — so your space carries the same sacred calm.
Our StoryFAQ
At the heart of our blends is white breu resin, an Amazonian resin known as the “perfume of the forest.” Indigenous Amazonian communities have used it in their rituals for centuries.
One stick burns for about 90 minutes. You can also put it out early and relight it later, so a single stick can last more than one ritual.
Every stick is made with white breu resin, wild-harvested in the Amazon. It’s blended with vegetable charcoal, essential oils and sea salt.
Yes, as with any incense, burn it in a well-ventilated space. Open a window, use a fan, or turn on the air conditioning. Place the stick in a non-flammable holder, keep it away from anything that can catch fire, and never leave it burning unattended. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
Start with how you want to feel: floral to soften the day, woody to feel grounded, fresh to clear your head. Each scent in the shop is sorted by family, so you can browse by mood.
